A New Contract Milestone for Phoenix 600HP
Yes, it’s the voice of confidence from our Auriga series, once again.
At Weizhou Island grid interconnection project, in the navigational channel section, the Auriga 1500 delivered precise and stable cable burial under tight operational constraints. A single trenching depth of 4.5m was achieved in the channel, setting a new project record, while the entire operation was carried out with calm decisiveness amid elevated risk and uncertainty.
With the project now in operation, it is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 4,318 tons, marking a tangible contribution to energy efficiency and low carbon power transmission.
This result is part of a broader picture. Over the course of 2025, the Auriga series has completed over 200km of subsea cable burial for multiple clients, all without a single equipment failure. A track record like this doesn’t just happen; it’s engineered and earned.
What follows is not louder claims, but higher expectations for reliability, scale, and the role subsea engineering plays in a low-carbon future.
